Priscila Faustino is a nurse midwife and a master’s student in Nursing at the Federal University of São Paulo (UNIFESP), with a focus on breastfeeding. She is a CAPES research fellow at the Ana Abrão Center/Human Milk Bank (UNIFESP) and is part of a randomized clinical trial investigating breast milk expression as a strategy to support breastfeeding in newborns at risk for hypoglycemia. She holds a specialization in Obstetric Nursing from the Albert Einstein Institute for Education and Research and a nursing degree from the Federal University of Mato Grosso. Priscila has clinical experience in rooming-in units, birth centers, and breastfeeding support. She is a member of the CENFOBS and GEPAM research groups at UNIFESP. She is the author of the article “Nursing diagnoses in hypertensive pregnant women” (REME, 2009) and contributed to the technical publication “Primary Health Care for Women” (2024), from the São Paulo Municipal Health Department.
